Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating special dietary needs
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders under supervision
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop personalized care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California CNA certification (or enrollment in state-approved training)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Compassionate nature and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation for home visits
- Background clearance and TB test required
