Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Support medication administration under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and resident families
- Participate in team huddles and continuing education programs
Qualifications
- Current North CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (will train)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation to various facility locations
