Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
- Serve meals and assist with nutritional needs as required
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completed state-approved CNA training program (or willing to complete)
- Current Massachusetts CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
