Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, etc.)
- Provide basic wound care and medication assistance under supervision
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Document resident care accurately in electronic health records
- Support social and recreational activities to enhance resident well-being
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Valid California CNA certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Passion for geriatric care and serving seniors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Reliable transportation with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
