Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision
- Ensure patient comfort and safety in accordance with hospital protocols
- Assist with meal service and nutritional support
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Document patient care accurately and timely in EMR systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Maryland CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
