Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret patient data using advanced telemetry and monitoring systems
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to dosage protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medication management
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license required
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
