Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional bedside care and assistance with daily activities
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with mobility, bathing, feeding, and personal hygiene needs
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and infection control protocols
- Support patient emotional well-being through empathetic communication
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Attention to detail and strong documentation abilities
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
