Responsibilities
- Assess patient health history and current condition to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome with Bridge program).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/ACNP preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
