Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and equipment operations
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and medical supplies
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Support patient emotional well-being through active listening and empathy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Texas CNA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
