Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting all findings accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
