Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and patient positioning
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and equipment
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current Washington State CNA certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
