Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain resident safety
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and family members
- Follow HIPAA protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly residents
- Reliable transportation to work locations
- Background check and drug screen required
