Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Provide mobility support and help patients with movement exercises
- Document patient observations and care in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Report changes in patient condition to registered nurses promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Texas CNA certification or enrollment in state-approved training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- Reliable transportation to work shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
