Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Provide mobility support and assist with patient transfers
- Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Nebraska CNA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly and vulnerable populations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
