Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop care plans
- Support emotional well-being through patient companionship
- Accurately complete electronic health records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- California CNA certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Passionate about serving diverse patient populations
- Must clear background check and drug screening
