Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and sterilization
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and maintain digital charting systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is sanitized
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Order inventory and manage dental supply stock
- Schedule appointments and handle front desk coordination
Qualifications
- No prior experience required - training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn software quickly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if not held)
- Texas state dental assistant registration assistance provided
- Pass background check and drug screening
