Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient flow and outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide telehealth triage services for remote patient consultations
- Manage emergency situations with calm professionalism and decisive action
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
Qualifications
- Active New York RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional triage assessment skills and critical thinking
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments
