Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays with proper radiation safety protocols
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols for all equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of supplies
- Update patient records and maintain digital charting systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
