Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside support and comfort measures for patients
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain clean treatment areas
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided!
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency
- Arizona X-ray certification (training available)
