Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs for homebound clients
- Administer prescribed medications and document vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and community activities
- Companion care including conversation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Report client condition changes to supervising nurses promptly
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required – we provide full paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and health screening
- Compassionate nature with genuine desire to help others
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
