Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely appointments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Recent Medical Assistant graduate or certification preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
