Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, identifying changes in status and intervening promptly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient care services, including vital signs, interventions, and responses to treatment, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
