Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient examinations, injections, and specimen collection
- Perform vital signs measurement and ECG procedures
- Manage patient flow, rooming, and pre/post-examination preparation
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) within 6 months of hire
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency with EHR systems (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
