Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification and Nebraska MA certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Valid Nebraska driver's license for occasional travel between clinics
