Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and basic diagnostic tests (EKG, phlebotomy)
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and maintain efficient clinic workflow
- Sterilize equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Current BLS/CPR certification (training available)
