Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, measurements, and basic diagnostic tests.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient examinations.
- Manage patient intake, update medical records, and ensure EHR accuracy.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment.
