Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Coordinate patient scheduling and telehealth appointments
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CMA certification preferred)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
