Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and prepare examination rooms prior to provider visits.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and basic procedures.
- Take and record accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Manage patient records and ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate professionally with patients via phone and email to answer inquiries.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of licensed personnel.
- Coordinate and schedule patient follow-up appointments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare preferred.
- Entry Level Candidates: Previous medical experience is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional conduct.
