Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Take accurate patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Schedule patient appointments and handle billing inquiries
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- BLS/CPR certification (required within 30 days of hire)
