Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Support vaccination administration and health screenings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No pharmacy experience necessary—training provided
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy systems
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
