Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and tracking medications
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspace
- Provide excellent customer service and answer patient inquiries
- Operate pharmacy software systems for order processing
- Prepare sterile compounds under pharmacist supervision
- Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- No prior pharmacy experience required – we train!
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain pharmacy technician certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid California driver's license (if required for deliveries)
