Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately
- Manage inventory and stock pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Operate pharmacy software and point-of-sale systems
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV medications (with training)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to obtain Tennessee pharmacy technician certification within 6 months
