Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection following strict safety protocols
- Prepare, label, and transport specimens to laboratory
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure sterile equipment and clean examination rooms
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Assist with EKGs and basic vital sign monitoring
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior phlebotomy experience necessary
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- California driver's license preferred
