Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection following OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Prepare patients for procedures with empathy and clear communication
- Maintain sterile equipment and organized workstations
- Document patient information and test results in EMR systems
- Collaborate with nurses and lab staff for seamless patient care
- Adhere to infection control standards and quality assurance measures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15-25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and compassion for patients
- Willingness to complete our paid 4-week training program
- Background check and TB clearance required
