Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, infection control, and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN) from accredited institution
- Active Indiana RN license or ability to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
