Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical units under preceptor supervision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient status and recognize changes requiring clinical intervention
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license (or eligible)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
