Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under preceptor guidance in acute care settings
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Participate in clinical simulations and skills workshops
- Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards
- Complete residency modules focusing on critical thinking and emergency response
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical practice standards
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN required)
- Active California RN license (or eligible to obtain)
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam or scheduled to take within 3 months
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Basic ECG interpretation skills
- Commitment to 18-month residency program
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
