Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with 24/7 nursing support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky RN license (or compact state)
- ASN or BSN degree from accredited program
- BLS certification required
- Clinical rotation experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
