Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations per ACLS protocols
- Adhere to hospital policies, JCAHO standards, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or eligible to sit for NCLEX)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Completion of clinical rotation or residency program preferred
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
