Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
- Educate patients and families on discharge procedures and home care management
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process audits
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry or ICU
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
