Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information thoroughly and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care management
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital safety policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
