Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and reactions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and calls for assistance.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
