Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units including ER, Med-Surg, and ICU rotations
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
- Participate in simulation labs and skills workshops through our residency program
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited BSN or ADN nursing program
- Active Washington State RN license (or eligible)
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam (or scheduled within 60 days)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic health record systems
