Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient vitals, health assessments, and screenings during weekend shifts.
  • Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and patient education.
  • Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
  • Coordinate patient flow, manage check-in/check-out processes, and reduce wait times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification from an accredited institution.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a primary care or specialty practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and rotating holidays as required.
