Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical unit with critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license (or compact license with Ohio application in progress)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within last 12 months
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
