Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients as directed by RNs and LPNs.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and response to treatment accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment at all times.
- Assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered State of Georgia CNA license.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
