Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and safety
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and recovery progress using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations to ensure patient well-being
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required
- Active Wisconsin RN license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
