Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and document patient outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance strategies.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and critical events.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Active RN license to practice in Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS required for most units).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
