Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient information in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee (or compact eligibility)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation or externship experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
