Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
- ACLS certification preferred or required within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
